What are the advantages of membership?
Members will, first of all, know that they are supporting those who act on their behalf by attending meetings and staying abreast of development issues, health and safety issues, etc. that will impact us as residents.
Furthermore, your dues will be used to help us communicate important information to you and to your neighbors, so together we can continue to be a positive force in our own community. The Association sends notices and important news via the United States Postal Service. However, this web site and email will also be used to communicate news of the neighborhood and reminders about upcoming events.
Life members pay dues of $150 on a one-time basis and may vote in all future annual meetings. Annual members pay dues of $35 each year, and may vote in those annual meetings during the years in which they are current with dues.
Here is a summary of user types on this web site:

Each of these user types involve a different “role” and set of permissions to use this site, submit content and access other content. If you are not logged-in, your default role will be that of “visitor,” which means that you may see publicly accessible pages, but not be able to do anything. If you have registered here, you can then log-into your account, add a photo of yourself and the Association will be able to track votes and know what people want.
You should be aware that the Association has a volunteer board, elected each year and there may be a decision by a future Board to change these membership access rules or discontinue operation of this site. Therefore, the Association reserves the right to post new membership information in the future.

Misleading Survey and misleading info on this site are cause of concern to your members . You are not telling membership about meetings that residents are holding for open discussion, you are not posting the dissenting opinions that you have received nor corrected misleading information nor allowed an opportunity to post these corrections ourselves. You promised a free conversation but you have controlled it by yanking the words off the site that you did not approve of. You allow ONLY life members to post and to view - you only allow people to read the survey results if they respond to the survey. To do this you would have to agree to the Transit District Ordinance. If you disagree, there is no way to proceed. Outrageous. On www.abingtoncitizens.com I will post whatever is requested .
The township refuses to post webpages and institute an email list regarding the Baederwood or to release the report of the attorney & the land planner and Rydal-Meadowbrook does not rally its members to change this.
There is so much you could do to right the wrongs, but instead residents are being encouraged to think there is nothing they could do to change the Baederwood overdevelopment.
