Penn State generously hosts various RMCA community events at its Abington campus. It will host RMCA's 2012 Traffic Summit, which will bring leaders from all of Abington together to prioritize hot spots and assess what can be done to improve the safety of pedestrians and drivers.

2011 Annual Meeting
The 63rd Annual Meeting of the Rydal-Meadowbrook Civic Association was well-attended on May 11, 2011.
Special thanks to Penn State Abington for hosting the meeting at the newly renovated Woodland Building. Thanks for Township updates by Carole DiJoseph, President of the Board of Commissioners, Abington Township and Steven Kline, Ward 1 Commissioner. Update on the state of the Commonwealth by Representative Josh Shapiro. Appreciation was expressed to retiring Abington Community Police Sargeant Dan Buckley. Community service was honored with the Julie Greenbaum Memorial Award. Learn about two scholarship recipients.
